Rules

NLO is built around protected builds, fair play, respectful players, and transparent enforcement.

Player rules

These are V1 public rules. They should be reviewed before launch, but the intent is already clear: protect the world, protect players, and avoid gameplay advantages tied to money or influence.

  1. No griefing, stealing, rollback baiting, or intentional damage to another player's work.
  2. No cheating, hacking, exploit abuse, duplication, x-ray, automation abuse, or unfair client behavior.
  3. Respect builds, claims, roads, spawn areas, shared farms, portals, and public projects.
  4. Respect players. Keep chat appropriate, avoid harassment, and resolve disputes without escalating drama.
  5. Staff decisions may be used to protect the world and community. Appeals can be documented later before public launch.
  6. Enforcement should be transparent: clear warning when possible, documented action when needed, and no hidden pay-to-win exceptions.

Enforcement transparency

Staff decisions should be understandable to the community. When action is needed, operators can explain the rule involved, the behavior being addressed, and the path to appeal once that process is defined.

Appeals placeholderA public appeal process can be added later. No form, database, or auth exists yet.
No pay-to-winFuture support should not buy protection, rule exceptions, operator access, or gameplay advantage.
Operator judgmentStaff may act to protect players, builds, and server stability while policies mature.

When in doubt, ask first

If a build, mod, farm, trade, or prank might affect another player, pause and ask. NLO should feel adventurous, not uncertain.
